Temple of Hidimba, Rishi Manu and Rishi Bashishtha

All these temples located in Manali are an important part of Manali sightseeing. Hidimba Temple is dedicated to Hidimba, the wife of Bhima. It is completely different from other temples. Its entrance is made of wood and its roof is in the shape of an umbrella. Manu Rishi’s temple is associated with Manu Rishi. It is believed that when the cataclysm came on the earth, Manu Maharaj’s boat stopped at Manali. The temple of Sage Vashisht is associated with Sage Bashisht. The sage did penance here. Solang Valley

By coming here you can enjoy activities like paragliding, horse riding, ropeway, mountain biking, and snow scooter. The Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi also enjoyed paragliding in Solang Nala. Solang Valley is only 12 km away from Manali. It is easily accessible here.

Manikin

It is situated on the banks of river Parvati. The historic Manikarn Gurudwara located here attracts everyone towards it. Gurdwara is a holy pilgrimage site for Hindus and Sikhs. Atal Tunnel Rohtang

Under Rohtang Pass, you will also get a chance to see the Atal Tunnel Rohtang, built by penetrating the hill of Pir Panjal. This tunnel is a specimen of Indian engineering. It takes ten minutes to cross this nine-kilometre tunnel. Tourists can also stay here and become aware of the method of its construction. In 10 minutes through the Atal Tunnel, from the beautiful valleys of Kullu to the wonderful valleys of Lahul. The distance from Manali to Atal Tunnel is 18 km.

Trilokinath and Mrikula Temple

With the construction of the Atal Tunnel, it has become easy to reach Trilokinath and Mrikula temples. Staying in Manali, you can easily visit both temples during the day. Trilokinath Temple holds religious significance among both Buddhists and Hindus. The temple is situated on a rock in the village. Tourists visiting Kullu Manali can easily reach here. After visiting Trilokinath, you can reach Mata Mrikala temple directly via Kishori village. Bap can come to Manali in the evening with the blessings of both deities. Chandratal and Kunjam Pass

The tourist places of Lahaul Spiti, Chandratal and Kunjam are both nearby. Both tourist places fall on the way from Lahaul to Kaza. Chandratal Lake is counted among the most beautiful lakes in the Himalayas situated at an altitude of about 4300 meters. This lake attracts many tourists who are fond of adventure.

It is one of the highest mountain passes. Here you can easily drive a motorbike. It is situated at an altitude of 4,551 meters above sea level. Here you can get a spectacular view of Kunzum La Bara-Shigri Glacier (the second-longest glacier in the world), Chandrabhaga Range and Spiti Valley. From here you can also enjoy the 9 km trek to Chandratal Lake. Chandratal is 140 kms from Manali. Tourists can easily reach Manali by roaming here in a day.

Kaza

Kaza is the headquarters of Spiti. It is situated on the flood plains of the Spiti river. Apart from the breathtaking views, it also has facilities like rest houses, hotels, health centres and markets. Every tourist feels at peace after coming to this city. All the tourist places in Spiti are around Kaza. Here you can see historical gompas like Kih Gompa and Dhankhar Gompa. In these tourist places, animals of extinct species, such as Snow Leopard and Ibex, are easily visible.

pin valley

Situated amidst the cold desert region of Lahul and Spiti district, Pin Valley National Park is a paradise for nature lovers. Pin Valley National Track is also the best place for adventure lovers. Situated at an altitude of 11,500 feet to 18000 feet, Pin Valley Park was constituted as a wildlife park in 1987. Apart from the wildlife park, Pin Valley Park Track is full of natural beauty.
